This policy explains how apps published by Gamrik Technologies ("we", "us") handle information. It applies to our apps on Google Play, including Couchfeed, our RSS video player for TV and phone (the "App").
To work, the App keeps the following only on your device: the feed addresses you add, favourites, watch progress and history, preferences, a search index of your feeds, and any videos you choose to download for offline viewing. This information is not sent to us. You can delete it at any time from within the App, by clearing the App's storage in Android Settings, or by uninstalling the App.
The App connects directly to the feed and video addresses that you add. Those servers are run by third parties, not by us, and will see standard connection information such as your IP address and device type, under their own privacy policies. We don't provide, host or control that content.
If you use voice search, your device's speech recognition service (for example, Google) processes the audio and returns text to the App. The App doesn't record or store audio. That processing is covered by the provider's privacy policy.
If you cast to a Chromecast or Google TV device, the App uses Google Cast to send the video address and title to the device you choose on your network. Google Cast is provided by Google under Google's Privacy Policy.
The current version of the App doesn't show ads and doesn't include third-party analytics. If a future version adds them (for example, Google AdMob or Firebase Analytics), we'll update this policy before that version is released, describe what is collected and why, and ask for consent where the law requires it.
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
Because your information stays on your device, it's protected by your device's own security. Connections to feeds use whatever security (such as HTTPS) the feed's server provides.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, mention it in the App's release notes.
